Ryoshi , The Founder of Shiba Inu , revealed The Shiba Inu Core Devs (SICD) is working towards developing its own Metaverse as "OSHIVERSE" . The Anonymous Developer Ryoshi also said that " We are working on so many aspects of Shiba Inu including Shibarium , Shi , Shibanet , The Decentralized Shiboshi Game , Incubator and much more that won't become evident until the near near future."

Shiba Inu's Oshiverse is envisioned as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Gaming Metaverse Space. On December , The Shiba Inu Team announced on Twitter that Playside Studios will lead the development of The Oshiverse. The Australian based Gaming Company will develop a multiplayer Collectable Card Game which is planned to be launched in Q1 FY23. Shiba Inu ($SHIB) will be the native token of the Oshiverse. $SHIB can be used as the currency to purchase the game assets, in-game items and the other services in the Oshiverse. However, one can not use $SHIB in any other Metaverse like Decentraland or The Sandbox.
